# ZenSched

> MCP-first field workforce scheduling: create locations and shifts, invite workers, verify GPS punches, collect forms, receive signed webhooks, and export timesheets.

ZenSched is operated through MCP, not a human web dashboard. Workers use the ZenSched mobile app (`com.zensched.app`).

- First calls: `zensched_guide`, then `account_create` (no email, no verify) returns a `zsc_` key
- Claude Connect / OAuth remains available for humans who want that path; it is optional, not the way a new vendor agent starts

## Workflow
1. Call `zensched_guide` for the current workflow, then `account_create` (no email required) to receive a `zsc_` key.
2. Fund when paid meters are needed.
3. Create a location, invite a worker, create an event and shift.
4. Register a webhook or poll `shift_status`.
5. Export verified timesheets with `timesheet_export`.
6. Submit feedback with `feedback_submit(category, text)` (free, works before funding).

No organization ID is passed to tools; the API key scopes the organization. Send `idempotency_key` on mutating calls. Use `account_setup` and `account_activity` for recovery.

## Pricing
Free tier: 200 MCP calls/day, `form_preview` 20/day, `account_export` 1/day.
Paid meters: verification $0.10; geocode $0.03 (location_create); pin_refine $0.10 (location_refine, vision re-pin from map tiles); form_basic $0.05; form_media $0.15; worker_invite $0.25; timesheet_processed $0.10 per worker per payroll window (timesheet_export mode=processed, billed once per worker-window, requires account_set_payroll_period first); api_call $0.001 after 2,000 free calls/day on funded orgs.
Free tools: feedback_submit (unauthenticated), feedback_list, location_update (manual pin override), timesheet_export mode=hours and mode=raw.
Activation: $5 one-time deposit (credited to balance). Suggested top-up: $25. Rails: x402 (USDC/Base), AP2 mandate, Stripe.
Feedback categories: bug, friction, missing_capability, docs, billing, feature, other. A human reads every submission.

## Webhooks
Events: `worker.invited`, `worker.activated`, `shift.checkin`, `shift.checkout`, `shift.missed`, `timesheet.ready`, `billing.low_balance`, `webhook.disabled`.
Verify `X-ZenSched-Signature` as HMAC-SHA256(secret, `"{timestamp}.{raw_body}"`). Retries: 1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 3h; success is HTTP 2xx.
